Hi all, I'm Sonal Chhibber, an Indian-born and Dubai-based social media influencer and Founder of “Living life on own terms" lifestyle blog, that is now considered one of the most loved Lifestyle blogs in Dubai. I'm an Author, Digital Content Creator, Model, Lifestyle Blogger, Fashionista and a sassy Social Media Influencer, who is passionate about Fitness, Fashion, Food, Friends, & Films. I have always followed my heart and passion. Writing is my profession as well as my first love. I write regularly on my Insta blog page about women empowerment, parenting, ex-pat life, self-care, beauty, wellness, fashion, relationship, mindfulness, spirituality, and travel.
I'm the winner of SHE Best Writer/Poetess Award 2020, Best Influencer Award 2020, and Best Model 2020. My articles and blogs have been published in various digital publications in UK, USA, South Africa, India and Middle East. As an influencer, I have worked with various leading brands in the Lifestyle & Fitness segment. A staunch believer of “women empowering women” principle. Through my blogs and social media, I strive to support and encourage women, help those who need to find themselves and pursue their passion in life. That's my mission now!
I became a "Fashion Blogger" by chance as people liked my sense of dressing and started asking me tips on fashionable wear. Well, I dont design clothes, I simply style them and take pictures! As, I am a beauty influencer and model too, fashion plays an important part to create the perfect look and style. The journey of being a Fashionista and doing brand shoots as a renowned Model hasn't been easy but after countering all odds, I stood victorious and actualised all my dreams. So, let me motivate you all too by what worked for me!
Well, being comfortable with yourself means not comparing yourself to others, and feeling OK with whatever choices you make in life. It can mean accepting how you look, being cool with how much you weigh, having good self-esteem, liking where you're at in life... the list goes on. But at the core of it all is the sense that you are fine just as you are. When you're truly comfortable with yourself, you don't feel the need for comparisons, and you don't feel the need to do things simply to impress others.
Once you figure out who "you" really are, you'll be less likely to feel shaken up by what other people are doing or thinking. So be yourself, stay real and do what you love!
